The Asian Alaskan Cultural Center’s mission is to enhance Alaskan’s understanding of Asians through artistic performances. To that end, one of our 8 member-communities hosts Asian Culture Night each Spring at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts(ACPA) in downtown Anchorage.

Asian Culture Night 2023 features Korea. On the evening of March 31st, at Atwood Theater of Alaska Center for The Performing Arts, the general public will be taken on an exciting tour of the music and dance of Korea by the Sorigae Molgae from Seoul. Molgae has presented Korean music not only through traditional Samulnori performance but through performing with various foreign music genres (Gukak orchestra, Jazz, Classic, Flamenco, etc.).
